| Description | Pictorial - Intimate Landscapes : Serge Gagné Serge Gagné will give a half-evening presentation focusing on Intimate Landscapes. He will share his experience of finding great satisfaction in isolating close-up scenes from broader natural environments. Additionally, Serge will present the work of several contemporary photographers renowned for their intimate landscapes and share their perspectives on this subject. The ideas derived from Intimate Landscapes are applicable across all photography genres and connect closely with this year’s theme of Intimate Scenes. After the break... Our Expressions group - Patricia Morris and Alex Brzezinski - will provide some inspiration for their upcoming events around the theme: Reflecting Our Automotive Experience; Roads, Vehicles and Parking Lots. The Challenge theme is Parking lots, Patricia Morris will offer some creative fuel to get you going with the subject of Parking Lots in preparation for our field trip / workshop on Sunday, October 26 and the grand reveal of our discoveries on November 24. Alex Brzezinski will shine headlights on who has paved what paths before us with a peek at how our theme is reflected in the history of photography. These subjects are an integral part of our everyday life, but we often overlook their artistic potential. This season, we invite you to look again — and see them with fresh eyes. |
