Still Life

A Still Life photograph is often about much more than its subject. What appears to be a simple subject presented in a straight-forward way can be the subtext for an image that is rich in texture, colour, emotion, and is often emotive of a story with deeper meaning. Or it just might simply be a pretty flower in a vase.

Either way, Still Life photography has a rich history and requires the photographer to develop their skills for composition and lighting technique.
