Architecture Competition *Hybrid*

The focus of Architecture is on buildings, their structure and shapes whether the images are of the interiors or the exteriors. Evidence of human presence is welcome, provided that these elements complement and contribute to the content of the image—as opposed to dominating it—by helping the image convey a stronger sense of the scale, wonder, beauty, and power of the architecture.

Any photograph found not to comply with the rules (or to the given theme if applicable) will be marked as not adhering to theme. Questions about this competition should be addressed to the Architecture & Urban Landscape group.

In addition to individual buildings, acceptable subjects may also include a limited streetscape of buildings, a collection of buildings linked by a common design aesthetic (eg. Place Ville Marie or Rockefeller Center) and civil engineering structures such as bridges, towers, aqueducts, underground transit stations and tunnels, etc.
