| Description | The Lakeshore Camera Club is proud to welcome guest speaker Leif Peterson. Originally from northern Norway’s fabulous Lofoten Islands, his family moved to Canada in 1951. His first trip back to Norway was 34 years later, in 1985. Since then, he has returned to Norway 18 times, most often to Lofoten, and has led several photo tours to the islands. Leif has been involved in photography for over 30 years and his skills have been recognized in regional and national competitions and publications. He has served 2 terms as President of the Oshawa Camera Club and is currently the President of the Ontario Council of Camera Clubs (O3C), an umbrella organization that supports 36 camera clubs throughout Ontario. He also enjoys his role as an Ambassador for Panasonic Canada, which involves evaluating their equipment and promoting their technology. Leif will be speaking about his approach to landscape and seascape photography and will share images from several locations around the world, as well as close to home. You can follow Leif here. |
